Who we are
A place to belong, on and off the pitch
Greater Manchester Vis was founded on a simple belief: that sight loss should never be a barrier to success — in sport, in friendship or in life. From that idea grew a thriving group offering coached sessions, relaxed socials and a warm welcome to everyone.
Whether you've played sport all your life or have never tried before, our guides and volunteers make sure you can take part with confidence. Sighted family, friends and supporters are always welcome too.

What we stand for
Everything we do is built on three promises
Welcoming
No pressure, no judgement — everyone is welcome. From competitive sport to a gentle walk and a cuppa, we'll find a way for you to take part.
Inclusive by Design
Every session is adapted for people with sight loss, with trained guides, audible equipment and supportive coaching.
Community First
More than sport — a place to make friends, build confidence and belong.
Our volunteers
Powered by volunteers
Volunteers are at the heart of our community. Whether guiding a player, setting up a session or offering encouragement, your support makes sport accessible, inclusive and enjoyable for everyone. Thank you for helping people belong.
