Who we are

A place to belong, on and off the pitch

Greater Manchester Vis began with a handful of people who believed visual impairment should never be a barrier to playing sport or making friends. Today we're a thriving group offering coached sessions, relaxed socials and a warm welcome to everyone.

Whether you've played all your life or have never picked up a bat, our guides and volunteers make sure you can take part with confidence. Sighted family, friends and supporters are always welcome too.

What we stand for

Everything we do is built on three promises

Welcoming

No pressure, no judgement. Come exactly as you are and we'll find a way for you to take part.

Inclusive by design

Sessions are adapted for every level of sight, with trained guides, audible equipment and clear communication.

Community first

The sport is the spark — the friendships are what keep people coming back, season after season.

Come and try

Your first session is free — and there's no such thing as “not sporty enough”

Drop us a message and we'll help you find the right activity, sort out travel, and make sure someone's there to welcome you on the day.
